This is s detached, newly-built holiday house with a private plot of land, within walking distance of the sunny side of Millstätter lake. The comfortable holiday house enjoys a very quiet location at the end of a cul-de-sac in a tranquil residential area. The generous house with its comfortable furnishing is ideal for a relaxing holiday with the whole family, a group of friends or for acquainted families. There are many amenities and recreational facilities in the immediate vicinity.
The house newly built in 2014 with its own garden, two terraces and a balcony provides 210m² of living space and comprises a basement, a ground floor and an upper floor. Each floor is conceived as a fully-equipped apartment, so there is plenty of space to withdraw privately on a holiday together. The basement has a bedroom with two single beds (2 x 90 x 200cm) next to each other, a living room with a flatscreen TV, sofa and pull-out sofa bed, and a fully-equipped kitchen-diner with a dishwasher, induction hob, oven and fridge. The bathroom has a big, glass shower cubicle, a window, a WC and a washbasin. The living room provides access to a terrace sheltered from the wind, with four steps leading directly into the garden. The ground floor comprises two bedrooms, a living and dining room with a flatscreen TV, a sofa and a pull-out sofa bed, as well as a dining space for up to 10 people. The living room has a big glass sliding door out onto a generous terrace. The ground floor also includes a separate guest WC and a bathroom with a WC. The upper floor comprises two bedrooms, a living and dining room with a flatscreen TV and an integrated kitchen, a shower room with a WC and a guest WC. The living room opens onto a balcony, with outdoor stairs leading down into the garden. Free wireless Internet access, satellite TV, towels and bed linen are provided.
While the terrace at basement level is sheltered from the wind, the terrace on the ground floor provides ample space for meals together outdoors, and the balcony on the upper floor offers a fabulous view of Millstätter Lake and the surroundings. As the house faces south, you can enjoy sunshine all day long and a magnificent view of the lake and surrounding mountains, which will put you in a perfect holiday mood every day. In summer children can enjoy a trampoline in the garden. There are three car ports at the foot of the site, with parking space for three cars.
Millstätter Lake is just 150 metres away. There are cafés and restaurants 200 metres away. It is 500 metres to shops, a tennis court and water sports facilities. If you are a winter holiday-maker, skier or snowboarder, then Goldeck is just 6km away, with the longest black piste in the Alps. A free ski shuttle bus can take you there, which stops 400 metres from the house. The Bad Kleinkirchheim and Katschberg ski resorts re 26-35km away. If you go 45km then you are on the pistes at Turracheer Höhe and Nassfeld. There are various cross-country skiing trails around the lake, of which some are within easy walking distance. For summer holiday-makers, of course there is Millstätter Lake right in front of you. It is just 150 metres to the lakeside beach, so you can have a dip even before breakfast. If you do not feel like swimming, then there are many other recreational activities available, such as pedalos, rowing, tennis or shopping. The surrounding mountains of the Gailtal and Gurktal Alps are of course a paradise for hikers, mountain lovers and climbers. There is a cycle path all around the lake. The nearest golf course is less than five minutes away. If you would like action and adventure such as paragliding or hang-gliding, then you can do so on Goldeck.
