The Can Mavi manor house, which dates from the 17th Century, is situated in the middle of the island of Majorca in the small original country town of Sencelles, at the exit of the town in the direction of Inca. The property is secluded.
The historic property with its 450 m² of living space and an almost paradisiacal secluded c. 800 m² garden with a swimming pool was extensively renovated, modernised and converted into a small apartment building in September 2012, while maintaining the traditional Majorcan style. The Can Mavi has five spacious holiday apartments that are furnished in a functional way. The architecture of the building reflects the once stately Majorcan style and today combines the traditional building elements with modern facilities and all the amenities you could want for a relaxing and enjoyable stay. The large dining room on the ground floor with a table for up to ten people, an open fireplace and access to the garden, is available for use by all the tenants. It offers a lot of flair with its large palm trees, the big olive tree in the centre, the bougainvillea bushes and the small romantic fountain. The pool with its loungers and sunshades is also available for communal use. Incidentally, the reception room is also suitable as a training or meeting room.
The residential units without a balcony or terrace have a share of the terrace in the large garden. There you can also have a self-made breakfast and round off the day in peace with a glass of wine on balmy summer evenings.
It should be noted that neither the house nor the garden and pool area are designed for small children. Therefore, for safety and liability reasons, only bookings with children of school age can be accepted. Upon special request and at an additional cost, this apartment can also be made available. For group bookings, there is the possibility of half-board (breakfast and dinner) at an additional cost.
There is a supermarket and a grocery store as well as other shops such as a butcher, baker, post office, restaurant and bar in the town. The location on the outskirts of the little town of Sencelles offers the possibility of direct contact with the Majorcan residents - be that at one of the small bars in the town, on market day every Wednesday, or in one of the shops. To go shopping, you can drive to Inca in about ten minutes, or to Palma in 20 minutes. The apartments are ideally located to reach the major points of the island. At the same time, you will find the necessary peace and quiet in the house and in the garden to unwind from the experiences and exertions of the day. For a relaxing day by the sea, you need about 30 minutes by car to get to the nearest beach. Or you can drive along small Majorcan country roads and through the typical Mediterranean landscape to the natural beach of Muro, or to Alcúdia for its vibrant beach life and to Port Pollenca for surfing or kite surfing. There are excellent transport connections by car, bus and train. Take advantage of the quick transfer to the airport, the multi-faceted shopping possibilities in Palma or the nearby town of Inca. Hiking, golf, cycling, sailing, surfing and kite surfing, among other sporting activities, are possible. Interesting excursion destinations include Palma, hiking in the Tramutanja mountains, bathing at the natural beaches, visiting the vineyards in the immediate vicinity and much more. Mitten auf der Insel Mallorca, in dem kleinen ursprünglichen Landstädtchen SENCELLES befindet sich am Ortsausgang Richtung INCA das aus dem 17. Jahrhundert stammende Herrenhaus
Can-Mavi. Das geschichtsträchtige Anwesen mit seinen 450 m² Wohnfläche und einem fast paradiesischen, uneinsehbaren ca. 800 m² großen Garten mit Pool, wurde im September 2012 umfassend renoviert und modernisiert und zu einem kleinen Apartmenthaus umgebaut, wobei der traditionelle mallorquinische Stil erhalten blieb.
Der Garten mit seinen großen Palmen, dem zentralen Olivenbaum, den Bucanville und dem kleinen romantischen Brunnen, steht allen Mietern zur Nutzung zur Verfügung, wie auch der Pool mit Liegen und Sonnenschirmen.
Zum Shopping fährt man ca. 10 Minuten nach INCA, oder 20 Minuten nach PALMA. Für einen erholsamen Strandtag braucht man ca. 30 Minuten Fahrzeit über kleine mallorquinische Landstraßen, durch die typisch mediterrane Landschaft der Inselmitte zum Naturstrand von MURO oder zum lebendigen Strandleben nach ALCUDIA sowie zum Surfen oder Kiten nach PORT POLLENCA.

Sencelles liegt in Inselmitte und bietet beste Voraussetzungen die Insel zu erkunden.
Alle interessanten Ziele sind in 30 Autominuten erreichbar. Im Ort gibt es 2 Supermärkte, Cafe´s, Restaurants, Banken eine Apotheke sowieTennisplätze und ein Schwimmbad. Große Einkaufsmärkte findet man im 10 Km. entfernten Inca.
Es gibt einen Bus nach INCA, von dort eine S-Bahn nach Palma sowie einen Bus zum Strand nach PORT-ALCUDIA.
Ein Mietwagen ist allerdings sehr empfehlenswert.
Haus sowie der Garten- und Poolbereich sind nicht Kleinkind gerecht gestaltet.
Deshalb können aus Sicherheits- und Haftungsgründen nur Buchungen mit Kindern im schulpflichtigen Alter angenommen werden.
Im Haus gibt es 4 weitere Apartments, darunter ein 2 Zimmer-Apartment und ein LOFT-Apartment mit Dachterrasse.
Der deutsche Vermieter und Verwalter des Objektes wohnt nur wenige Minuten vom Objekt entfernt und steht bei Fragen und Wünschen gerne zur Verfügung.
