This beautiful half-timbered house was extensively renovated in 2019 using natural, ecological building materials and old craftsmanship and is ideal as a holiday home for a relaxing and active holiday. With four bedrooms and two bathrooms, the house offers plenty of space for a holiday with family or friends.
The furnishings are modern and of high quality. In the large eat-in kitchen you have modern kitchen appliances as well as a wood-burning cooker. Here you can enjoy meals together or relaxed game nights. The cosy living room is the perfect place to retreat. The ground floor of the house is suitable for people with limited mobility, in particular the bathroom and shower offer sufficient space for use with walking aids.
When the weather is nice, you can enjoy your holiday in the garden on the comfortable garden furniture or sun loungers. The house also has its own barbecue as well as board games. The property itself is largely surrounded by a beech hedge. The 5 metre high beech hedge is a regional speciality, providing excellent privacy in addition to the desired weather protection.
In addition to the car parking spaces in front of the house, 2 car garage parking spaces are available for a fee about 30 metres away, which can also be used for bicycles, e-bikes or motorbikes. The prices for the garage parking spaces can be requested from the owner.
The climatic health resort of Monschau with its historic old town, imposing hedgerow and fen landscape with half-timbered houses and cobbled streets is a town in western Germany, close to the Belgian border. Monschau Castle towers above the town and is a venue for open-air concerts. In spring, the famous daffodil blossom offers a rare natural spectacle in the Perlenbach and Fuhrtsbachtal valleys near Monschau. At the beginning of spring, several million wild daffodils bloom and spread out into large yellow carpets. They are spread over an area of 280 hectares. Apart from the Eifel, these meadows of wild-flowering daffodils can only be found in the Hunsrück.
For your own holiday activities, there are many opportunities for both hikers and cyclists. Your holiday resort of Monschau in the Höfen district is also known as the gateway to the Eifel National Park. In winter, depending on the weather, there are cross-country ski trails. For motorsport enthusiasts, the Nürnburgring and the Formula 1 race track SPA Francorchamps are within easy reach.
