The community of Mönkeberg is situated on the east side of the Kieler Förde, close to the provincial capital of Kiel.
Our little farm is located in the upper part of Mönkeberg, approx. 1,9 km from the beach and shopping facilities and the bus stop for busses to Kiel, Heikendorf and Laboe, you will find 1,3 km away.
The City of Kiel and the Ferry terminals for the ferries to Norway, Sweden and eastern Europe you can reach by car or by bus in about 20 minutes.
Both of our Holiday apartments were renovated completely in 2012.
There is a parking place in the yard.
For children we have a go-cart and a lot of open space for playing.

The 1st apartment is located on the ground floor of the former farmhouse, has a size of 95 m² and is open plan.
It has a living room, two bed rooms (one double bed room and one twin bed room), a fully equipped kitchen with electric range and oven, microwave, dishwasher, fridge and a dining area. For small children there is a high chair available. The commodious bathroom has a wash basin, that is adjustable in the height, a barrier free shower (suitable for wheel chair) and a toilet. The appartment has TV(satellite), DVD-Player, Hi-Fi System with Radio/CD and WiFi.

There is a terrace with seats for four people.

In the cellar there is a laundry room with washing machine, tumble dryer, iron and ironing board, that can be used by all of our guests.

    “Positiv: Geräumige gemütliche Ferienwohnung. Gute Lage für viele Ausflüge. Loboe, U-Boot Ehrenmal, Kiel, No-Ostseekanal, Plöner Seen, Fehmarn. Negativ: Die Dusche im Bad hatte einen schlechten und schmutzigen Ablauf. Freizeit: U-Boot bei Laboe. Gaststätte Kiek ut bei Heinkendorf am Strand. Schiffsbegrüßung
    am Kanal, Plön und Umgebung.”

    “Positiv: Sehr freundlicher Empfang, obwohl wir uns außerhalb der üblichen Anreisezeit angekündigt hatten.
    Großzügige Wohnung, modern eingerichtet.
    Verkehrsgünstig gelegen.
    Würden wir wieder nutzen und gern weiter empfehlen. Negativ: Nicht zufrieden mit der Vermittlung durch Kiel-Marketing. Sehr dürftige Informationen bei der Bestätigung. Wir mußten mehrfach nachfragen, ob wie gewünscht 2 Schlafzimmer vorhanden und die Nebenkosten wie Bettwäsche im Preis enthalten sind.”

    “Positiv: Parkplatz direkt vor der Wohnung. Freisitz und ebenerdigen Zugang zum Garten. Für unseren Hund stand ein Futternapf in der Wohnung bereit. Nette Vermieter. Alles bestens!”
