Our four-star holiday home is in a very quiet location in the weekend area of Rodenroth.
We are located in a hilly landscape at approx. 450m. With a good distant view you have a view over the Taunus to the Feldberg or to the Hoherodskopf in the Vogelsberg.
From the accommodation you can go on very beautiful hikes through forests and valleys in the surrounding area.
The starting point is also ideal for cyclists and mountain bikers. There are very beautiful cycle paths nearby, such as the Ulmtalradweg, the Kallenbachtalradweg or you can cycle along the Lahn to Lahnstein.
A connection through the Weiltal to the Feldberg is also possible.
For those who want to do water sports, the following lakes are nearby: Ulmbachtalsperre (bathing opportunity). Seeweiher (bathing) Aartalsee (swimming and sailing) Krombachtalsperre (bathing, sailing and surfing).
On the Lahn you have the possibility to go canoeing in a beautiful landscape.
Even in bad weather there are plenty of opportunities for leisure activities, such as a visit to the crystal cave in Kubach or a castle tour in Weilburg or Braunfels. The nearest supermarket is 3 km away.

    “Das Objekt und seine Umgebung kann ich nur weiterempfehlen. Wir kommen auch gerne ein zweites und ein drittes Mal wieder. Positiv: Schlüsselübergabe und Hausbesichtigung war problemlos. Der Vermieter war sehr nett und hilfsbereit. Er hat uns viele nützliche Tipps zur Umgebung gegeben. Man konnte ihn jederzeit anrufen. Das Haus war in einem top modernen und gepflegten Zustand. Es ist alles vorhanden, was man braucht. Fenster und Türen sind gut gesichert. Man fühlt sich sehr sicher. Das Haus liegt sehr ruhig in einer Ferienhaussiedlung am Waldrand. Der Weg dorthin ist eine Schotterstrasse, aber gut befahrbar. Die nächste Einkaufsgelegenheit gibt es in 3 km Entfernung und das nächste sehr gute Restaurant in 6 km Entfernung. Negativ: Es gibt nichts negatives zu berichten. Restaurant: Bürgerhaus in Katzenfurt - gut bürgerliche Küche. Grosse Portionen mit angenehmen Preis/Leistungsverhältnis Ausflüge: Burg Greifenstein - ist zu Fuss und per Auto zu erreichen. Parkmöglichkeit vor der Burg. Ist sehr interessant zu sehen- Glockenmuseum, Folterkammer, Turmaussicht (sehr weit einsehbar)”

    “Je kijkt aan de zijkant vanuit de woonkamer tegen een paar rode panelen aan wat een beetje jammer is, t.o.v. de rest van het uitzicht.
    De struiken moeten nog wat groeien die al gepland waren
    maar mss is een schutting of dennenbomen een uitkomst.voor nu.

    Verder op de woning niets op aan te merken.
    Je voelt je meteen welkom oor de vriendelijke ontvangst van de eigenaar.
    Alles aanwezig in de woning die e helemaal nieuw
    uitziet Positiv: De gastvrijheid, alles keurig schoon en fris
    Het uitzicht Negativ: Het uitzicht naar de tuin van de buren.”

    “Positiv: Die Bewertung mit 5 Sonnen sagt eigentlich schon alles. Rundherum ein erholsamer Aufenthalt mit allen erdenklichen Annehmlichkeiten. Nochmals herzlichen Dank. Freizeit: Besonders zu empfehlen sind die Wanderungen ab Ausgangspunkt Outdoor-Zentrum (Ri Ulm), die für jede Befindlichkeit und Anstrengung die geeigneten Wege bereithält.”
