In our unique holiday apartment at the Paulinzella train station with sauna, you can feel at home and have an unforgettable vacation. Our place can accommodate up to nine people and is ideal for hikers, travel groups, or professional bookers (construction workers). It has two cozy bedrooms, a modern bathroom with shower, a hallway, and a spacious living room with a kitchen. The kitchen is equipped with everything you need for a delicious meal: a stove with four induction plates, a refrigerator with a freezer, a microwave, a kettle, a coffee machine, a toaster, plenty of dishes and cutlery, and a mini oven for heating bread rolls. The extendable dining table can accommodate up to nine people.
Imagine sitting in front of the crackling fireplace in the living kitchen and enjoying the cozy atmosphere after an adventurous day in nature. On cold days, you can also warm up with the infrared heater in the bedroom and bathroom. Wi-Fi is, of course, available. As our guests, you also have access to an idyllic garden (over 3000 square meters). Here you can refresh yourself under the outdoor shower or sweat in the sauna (for a fee).
Our domicile is located in the middle of the forest, but with railway connections and good transport links to the motorway. Paulinzella is a gateway to the Thuringian Forest and offers numerous opportunities for hiking and strolling. The Luther hiking trail and the pilgrimage route of strong women lead through the village. Paulinzella Monastery - a significant and wealthy abbey
Paulinzella Monastery was founded in 1102 by the Saxon noblewoman Paulina as a double monastery. She was the daughter of the steward Moricho from the court of King Henry IV. The monastery was a significant center of the Hirsau Reform and had rich property in the region. The monastery was dissolved in 1542 as a result of the Reformation and transferred to the office of Paulinzella. A small hunting lodge of the princes of Schwarzburg-Rudolstadt was built on the monastery grounds.

Paulinzella Monastery Church was consecrated in 1124 and was built following the model of the abbey church in Hirsau.
