If you are a music lover, from July to August, usually Tuesdays and Fridays, you can listen to rock, country or blues concerts in the solarium located a couple of meters after the house. Particularly recommended, the feast of Our Lady of Santa Maria la Scala on the last Sunday of August, a picturesque event with a strong tourist attraction characterized by beautiful fireworks over the harbor, boat competition, the procession of the Madonnina and marine games. I wait for you to taste the homemade granita from Tanina, so good that it attracts swimmers from Taormina, Acitrezza and Acicastello, who dock their boats at the port of Santa Maria La Scala.

The fishing village of Santa Maria la Scala is today an uncontaminated village that continues over the years to preserve the natural and wild characteristics typical of La Timpa, a majestic hill overlooking both Etna and the sea, culminating with a breathtaking view that it even goes as far as the Calabrian coasts. Poetic, the fishermen's walk at dawn right in front of the house while they show and sell their fresh catch of the day. Spectacular and romantic, the view of the night lamps that illuminate the sea at night. The location of the house is strategic as it overlooks various public slopes overlooking the sea and a public solarium with paid sunbeds and free showers. The fresh cocktails in the solarium bar, also open at night, are delicious. But if you choose to take a trip one morning, you can opt for Taormina, the Etna volcano or even Syracuse, where, until the end of June, you can watch the Greek tragedies in the ancient Greek theater. The villa is located 10 minutes from Acireale, where I recommend you to admire the architectural beauties of the Duomo and the church of San Sebastiano.
