    “Kleines, aber sehr gemütliches Haus. Die Ausstattung lässt keine Wünsche offen und die Lage mit Blick auf`s Meer ist traumhaft. Das Vermieterpaar ist extrem freundlich und zuvorkommend, allerdings sprechen sie ausschließlich spanisch, aber irgendwie klappt die Verständigung schon. Den einzigen Abzug gibt`s wegen der klimatischen Verhältnisse: Das Grundstück liegt auf ca. 700m Höhe am Nordhang und da oben hängen dann gerne die Wolken fest. Dadurch hatten wir bei unserem Aufenthalt im Mai am Haus Temperaturen um die 15 Grad mit Wolken, während unten im Ort 21 Grad und Sonne herrschten und auf der Südseite der Insel bis zu 26 Grad. Dadurch konnten wir das Haus nicht in dem Maße genießen, wie es angesichts der Lage wünschenswert gewesen wäre. Aber deswegen ist das Haus vermutlich auch so günstig. Das Preis/Leistungsverhältnis ist jedenfalls absolut in Ordnung.”

    “We loved the house! It's really charming - small but very well equipped with everything you need to feel yourself like home. Well equipped kitchen (even spices, oil etc. are there), plenty of firewood for the fireplace, washing machine, hair-dryer, flat iron, sewing kit... everything is there! The house is perfectly clean and very cozy. The garden is very large (especially for Canary Island standards) and it's very quiet there. Lots of flowers. You don't see any neighbors and no one is bypassing the property (and it feels very safe as the gate is locked). So it's nice for people who love nature, peace, countryside, relaxing and bird songs. Fantastic view from the terrace overlooking the mountain, Icod and the ocean.
    A few downsides - as the house is located a bit higher up on the mountain, it's colder there than it's down in the city Icod. It's quite cold in the evenings and mornings. The road down to the city is narrow, very steep and a bit challenging. There is almost no sun on the terrace as it faces north/northwest. For sunbathing there is the roof of the house, but then - there are no sunchairs. Yes, and there are only German channels on the TV. It would be great to have more in English. Otherwise - everything was just perfect and this was absolutely the best value for money possible. The owners are wonderful people who take care of their guests all the time.”

    “Haus im kanarischem Stil, Foto der Küche entspricht nicht den Gegebenheiten (scheinbar anderes Haus), innen sehr dunkel und insgesamt schattig gelegen. Weitläufiges Grundstück, ruhig und hoch (ca. 700 Meter) gelegenes, nicht einsehbares, Grundstück mit automatischem Tor. Sehr steile An- und Abfahrt.
