The main part of the farmhouse is designed for comfort and relaxation. On the ground floor, there are two ensuite bedrooms with exterior access only, while the remaining bedrooms are on the first floor. The cottage by the poolside sleeps 2 and includes a sitting/dining room, well-equipped kitchen, bedroom, shower room and laundry room.
Outside, the farmhouse sits on a large plot with courtyard under a pergola, a gas barbecue, and a plancha for delightful outdoor meals. The private pool, secured by an alarm, beckons for refreshing dips, while deck chairs offer a perfect spot for relaxation.
Located in the plain of St. John of Maruéjols on the edge of a river, near Barjac, in the middle of nature and in a hamlet composed of 5 houses. 2 km from the village with convenience stores. The Claysse passes along the property; a small river that flows into the Cèze. The Ardèche gorges are a few kilometres away and there are lots of activities in the area: Mountain biking, canyoning, paragliding, hiking, swimming, climbing and horse riding.
The house is an ideal starting point for many visits: Avignon, Nimes and Aubenas are less than 1 hour away. Uzes is only 35min and Ardèche gorges are 20min. Caves are numerous and the last wonder "Cave du Pont d'Arc" or Grotte Chauvet is only 30min away. The Bamboo Forest is a 45min drive as well as the Pont du Gard.
Please note: The owners reside in an independent house on-site. Fishing is possible in the nearby river; however, access is not secured for young children. A small country road passes along the property.
