Die beiden Ferienwohnungen belegen die obere Etage eines zweistöckigen, 1980 im traditionellen, apenländischen Landhaus-Stil neu erbauten Wohnhauses, dessen untere Etage vom Vermieter bewohnt wird.
Ein Auto wird während Ihres Aufenthaltes empfohlen, die Parkplätze direkt vorm Haus stehen Ihnen während Ihres Aufenthaltes zur Verfügung.
Und obwohl der Vermieter gleich in der unteren Etage selbstverständlich stets auf Ihre Privatsphäre bedacht ist, steht er Ihnen bei Fragen jederzeit gerne zur Verfügung.
Das Landhaus befindet sich in einer etwa 10 minütigen Autofahrt von Zell am See. Im Zentrum der Ortschaft Bruck finden Sie alles für den täglichen Bedarf: Einkaufsmöglichkeiten und eine gute Auswahl an Cafes und Restaurants. Vom Bahnhof Bruck-Fusch (etwa 10 Minuten Fußweg) bieten sich regelmäßige Verbindungen zu den Sehenswürdigkeiten in der Umgebung.

The 35m² holiday apartment is located on the ground floor. It consists of a light living room, with dining space, a modern fully-equipped kitchen, one bedroom, and a bathroom. The living room provides a comfortable sofas and a matching armchair, as well as a TV with cable connection. You go through a round archway into the modern Kitchen with a four-zone electric hob and extractor fan, an oven, dishwasher, microwave, fridge with freezer compartment, kettle, toaster and coffee machine. You can enjoy leisurely holiday breakfasts at the table and chairs. The bedroom is furnished with a small double bed (140 x 200cm). The bedroom has a bedside table with reading lamp and ample cupboard storage space for your clothing and luggage. The bathroom is fitted with a shower cubicle, a washbasin with a wall mirror, a hairdryer and a toilet. Wireless Internet access is included in the rental price. Ski storage and boot dryer is available. Bicycle storage is also available.
There is no balcony, terrace or outside space however, you can enjoy beautiful views from the bedroom and lounge over the mountains of the Salzburgerland. There is no garden access, and therefore no possibility to grill / bbq.
The Zell am See region is a beautiful summer resort. The lake has a number of beaches and various water-sports can be undertaken in numerous locations around the lake. Remarkably the water temperature can reach up to 22 °C. If you wish to relax and gaze at the mountains from out on the water, then a scenic cruise or ferry crossing on lake Zell is a beautiful way to spend an hour or two.
Bruck itself lies in the ‘Hohe Tauern National Park‘. Here you will find wonderful meadows and gorges with wild flowers and waterfalls. The whole area is a paradise for Nordic walkers, ramblers and mountain bikers , as there are seemingly unlimited trails to explorer. Bike rentals are available in many locations including here in the village. ‘Tettenwand‘ and ‘Gletscherseeplatte‘ rock faces offer some excellent climbing for both novices and experts.
Just an hours drive in any direction and you will find some of the most amazing attractions such as; the largest ice caves in the world at ‘Werfen‘, one of the highest waterfalls in the world at ‘Krimml‘, the ‘Grossglockner high alpine road‘, Salt & Copper mines and the historical area of ‘Berchtesgaden‘.
For the more adventurous, there are activities such as white water rafting, canyoning, and rock climbing. And if that still isn’t enough then why not pop down to the light airfield in Schüttdorf, where paragliding and other airborne activities are to be found.
Our Apartment House is situated directly on the Grossglocknerstrasse. This famous alpine road which leads you into the heart of the Hohe Tauern National Park and to the highest mountain in Austria, the ‘Grossglockner’ (3,798m) and its glacier the ‘Pasterze‘. You will have the most amazing driving and nature experience of a special kind on 48 kilometres of high alpine road with 36 hair-pin bends, and an altitude ascent to 2,504 metres! Why not combine the trip with a wander around the Wildlife park at ‘Ferleiten‘. Located 6km from the Chalet, just before the toll road starts. Here you will meet some of the animal inhabitants of the region such as Bison, Bears, Lynx, Wolves, Deer, and the Ibex Goat, which is a type of mountain goat, unique to the Alps.
In nearby Kaprun, the ‘Tauern Spa’ offers increased wellness and relaxation options all year round. Also located there in Kaprun is one of the finest golf courses in Austria which offers 36 holes, surrounded by the most stunning of views.
The Glemm valley, running from East to West from the top of the Zeller See is home to the hochseilpark which is Austria's biggest high rope course, as well as the Glemmy off-road park where you can race Quad bike‘s or Buggy‘s.
