“The apartment is very nicely appointed, with two generous king-bedded bedrooms and two bathrooms. There is a small pull-out sofa bed in kitchen as additional 'bed', but barely adequate for one person, certainly not two.
Location: Basically it is difficult to locate, we spent nearly an hour trying to find the turn-off, despite several calls to the owner. The 'main' road from La Spezia to the Vernazza turn-off is winding and narrow, but possible. The final road to the apartment is extremely narrow, single lane, no passing spots - fortunately also no traffic - but nerve-wracking on first attempt.
However, once established and recovered, an absolutely stunning location, a beautiful terrace from which to enjoy breakfast and evenings.
Crockery, cutlery etc. only 6 of everything, which means that dishwasher had to be used after every meal. A washing machine is visible but unable to be used, making normal laundry needs difficult.
The description is accurate e.g. 27km to petrol, several km to shops - but user needs to be aware of the vertical drive to Vernazza shop.
If travellers are more aware of Cinque Terra access issues, how better to plan access etc., it is a beautiful experience; we were not prepared, but nevertheless enjoyed our stay.” “The apartment is very nicely appointed, with two generous king-bedded bedrooms and two bathrooms.
