Comfortable, modern holiday apartment in a renovated old villa with a large garden, for nature lovers and free spirits

The villa, nestled into a park with a rose and perennial garden, enjoys a central and quiet location. The Kurpark, leisure centre and a large children’s playground are within about a five-minute walk. The Cistercian monastery, an important part of the UNESCO world cultural heritage site "Rammelsberg ore mine, Goslau old town and Oberharz water conservancy”, with its impressive modern museum, is only about a ten-minute walk from Villa Brodthage.

You can relax in the big garden with century-old trees and a pond with lilies, as well as the newly designed rose and perennial garden. There is a generous garden sitting area with comfortable garden furniture, a parasol and grill in the sunny orchard right by the house. There are further seating and loungers, as well as a campfire area, in the park. The park was laid out according to the ideas of the garden architect Rudolf Ehlgötz in the 1930s. The apartment has a car parking space and lockable storage space for bicycles or skis.

The holiday apartments are on the sunny side of the Harz in the monastery town Walkenried in an interesting landscape with charming nature, a variety of culture and an exciting history. The very comfortable, modern holiday apartment (non-smoking) measures around 90m². The apartment is characterised by a contemporary and stylish atmosphere. The living room with a sofa bed, two armchairs, a coffee table, a dining table with four chairs, cable TV, a video player and stereo system, the bedroom with a big double bed, two armchairs, a wardrobe and a large mirror, the hallway with cloakroom space and the fully-equipped kitchen have functional furnishing and fittings. The bathroom provides a shower, bath, WC and washbasin. The apartment also has free Internet access and a free parking space by the property. Out of consideration for allergy sufferers, pets are not allowed. The property is not suitable for the disabled.

    “Sehr empfehlenswert! Positiv: Freundlicher Empfang, gute Wander- Einkaufs- und Restauranttipps, liebevolle Kleingkeiten: gefüllte Obstschale, Wasser, Sekt etc. Negativ: Stufen im Flur. Ich hätte mir im Flur eine Beleuchtung gewünscht, die auf einen Bewegungsmelder reagiert. Restaurant: La Locanda - Pizzeria mit Lieferservice ab 20,- € Ausflüge: Klostermuseum Walkenried - Gehört zum Unesco-Weltkulturerbe, guter und hilfreicher Audioguide”

    “Dit luxe appartement is van alle gemakken voorzien en is super schoon en netjes. Fruit ligt in de fruitschaal en een fles witte wijn ligt in de koeler. Wij hadden een 4 pers. appartement op de begane grond en hebben dan ook vaak in de tuin ontbeten met verse warme broodjes uit de oven. De wifi was in de kamer goed maar werd minder zodra je verder van de kamer verwijderd was. Het huis staat in ee n rustige wijk en heeft een grote tuin met aan het einde nog een verrassing van een prieel met vijver waar een ronde loungebank is en men er heerlijk kan ontspannen.”
