Light, spacious holiday apartment in the Flaminio district

This large, brightly daylit holiday apartment is in a quiet location, very near Piazza del Popolo, providing ample space for large families or groups.

The holiday apartment is on the first floor and has two bathrooms with a shower and a living room with a sofa bed for two people. The living room also has a kitchen unit, equipped with a stove, microwave, toaster, kettle, 10-litre freezer and fridge. There are also four bedrooms, of which one has a double bed, one has a double bed or two single beds, and the other two have a double bed or three single beds. A cot or junior bed and a highchair can be provided on request. Each room has air conditioning. There are also two TVs (digital TV and satellite TV) and a washing machine. Wireless Internet access is available.

Outside there is a small balcony overlooking the interior courtyard. The building has a lift. Babysitting is available on request (prices to be agreed).

The apartment is just 100 metres from a market which is open daily until 14.00 apart from Sundays. Here you can buy fruit, vegetables, meat, cheese, bread and ready-made dishes. About 50 metres from the apartment you can find a small supermarket that is open daily until 22.00, including on Sundays, as well as a bakery and a shop where you can buy fresh, homemade pasta. The Flaminio district is in the north of the city, right behind the Aurelian Walls, between the left side of Via Flaminia and the Tiber. There is plenty to explore in this district, such as the museums like the Maxxi (600 metres) and the Galleria Nazionale d’Arte Moderna (2300 metres), theatres such as Teatro Olimpico (100 metres) and cultural centres such as the auditorium (1300 metres). The apartment is well connected to public transport, so you can get to many of the major sights of Rome by bus and by rail. You can also explore Rome by bicycle. There is a cycle path by the Tiber that goes as to Tiber Island. There is a bicycle rental service about a five-minute walk from the apartment.

    “Sehr schöne Ferienwohnung.
    Ideal für einen Rom Aufenthalt.
    In der Nähe sehr gute Einkaufsmöglichkeiten, insbes. eine schöne Markthalle, Bäcker und alles andere. Nette Cafes, Bars und Restaurants fußläufig.
    Wir waren mit drei Kindern da, es gab Spielzeug, zwei Bäder und eine problemlose Abwicklung.

    “Die Ferienwohnung ist top ausgestattet. Wir waren 8 Pesonen und hatten ausreichend Platz.
    Die Wohnung liegt etwas außerhalb der Innenstadt; man ist aber mit der Straßenbahn und der Metro relativ schnell im Zentrum.
    In näherer Umgebung sind zahlreiche EInkaufsmöglichkeiten (Bäckerei, Markt, Restaurants, Bank, Straßenbahn etc.)”
