This holiday apartment in a two- family house is located on the green hills surrounding Vicenza, only 6 km away from Villa La Rotonda by the architect Andrea Palladio. It allows you to enjoy the atmosphere of the countryside together with the chance to visit the most suggestive sites of aart of the region: Venice, Vicenza, Padova, Verona, Treviso, the beaches of the Adriatic coast, Garda lake, the thermal baths of Abano and Montegrotto. This large Napoleonic house, perfectly restored, is on 2 floors: it is well decorated. The garden is your oasis where relaxing after a day spent in visiting or in practicing sport. The Colli Berici are crossed by roads and cycle paths like the 35 km long one connecting Padova to Vicenza, following the river Bacchiglione and that allows to experience the view of the marvelous villas of Veneto: La Rotonda by Palladio, Villa Conti Lampetico called “La Deliziosa”, Villa Moschini Rossi, the castle of San Martino della Vaneza, Villa Pisani- Creola with its large “barchessa”. Following the river Brenta, a path to be done by bike or by “burchiello”, the typical Venetian boat dating back to ‘700, for a romantic mini- cruise among the Venetian Villas, ending in Venice, Piazza San Marco. The Colli Berici, rich in natural paths, are also suitable for trekking and Nordic walking; there are also tracks for motorcyclists. The walls of cliff over Lumignano are used as gym for climbers. Within 50 km from the accommodation, there are 6 golf courses and nearby there are several horse riding schools. You can alternate an active day with a relaxing one in the thermal baths of Abano and Montegrotto Terme (30 km). In one hour driving you can reach the long beaches of the Adriatic coast or of Garda lake, where you can have fun in one of the several amusement parks. Also a trip to the mountain can vary your holiday: in less than 100 km you can enjoy the fizzy air of the Asiago plateau or making some interesting excursions in the region, like the road of 52 galleries of Pasubio or climbing up to 1800 m on Monte Grappa, from where in the clear days you can see Venice up to the Dolomites, Unesco heritage. For art lovers, the area is rich in cities of art: Vicenza with its architecture by Palladio, Padova (35 km) with the Scrovegni Chapel and the ancient Botanical Gardens, Verona (60 km) the city of Romeo and Juliet, Venice (70 km), unique jewel in the world. There are also wonderful medieval towns: Bassano del Grappa, Marostica, Asolo, Montagnana, Este, Arquà Petrarca and the Venetian Villas with their nice gardens. We recommend the food and wine routes between plains and hills discovering the olive mills and the wine cellars where tasting local specialties to complete this holiday.

    “Sehr schönes Anwesen mit Garten. Die Wohnräume sind großzügig, Küche im EG, dann Wohnzimmer im 1. und Schlafzimmer mit Bad im 2. OG. Es ist sehr ruhig, so dass man bei schönem Wetter im Garten herrlich entspannen kann. Die Vermieter sind sehr nett und wir haben uns wirklich wohl gefühlt und würden wieder kommen.”

    “Sehr schönes Anwesen, besonders bei freundlichem Wetter zu genießen. Die Nähe von Vicenza ist sehr vorteilhaft. Gastgeber - sehr freundlich. Ein bisschen Italienisch und Englisch verbessert die ohnehin angenehme Atmosphäre. Vorsicht ist bei der Grundstücksausfahrt geboten wegen der Unübersichtlichkeit zur Straße.”
