„Kalnakriknas” is a cozy and comfortable vacation house, which is surrounded by forests and meadows. This vacation house offers recreation from everyday bustle and noise at the same time being only a 45 minutre drive away from Old Riga. This is a perfect combination of the calm and beautiful latvian countryside and the impetuous and active city of Riga. “Kalnakriknas” is an ideal place where you can hold family sports events or naturist holidays. Even though this vacation house is relatively close to Riga, you can often see various wild animals like wildhogs, deers, rabbits, foxes and others. The vacation house is equipped with air conditioning and heaters. Around the house is 3.5 ha large landscaped territory.

    “Das Ferienhaus liegt mitten in der Natur mit einem tollen, weitläufigen Gelände, Schwimmteich, Grillhütte, Volleyball-Feld, Basketballkorb und vieles mehr. Die Ausstattung ist hochwertig und lässt keine Wünsche übrig (Waschmaschine, Mikrowelle, TV, Sprudelbad und vieles mehr). Im Haus befindet sich eine Sauna und die Zimmer sind sehr geräumig. Die Anfahrt erfolgt über einen längeren Waldweg. Direkte Nachbarn gibt es keine - das heißt Ruhe und Erholung pur.”

    “Ein tolles Ferienhaus mit allem Komfort. Es fehlte an nichts und wir (8 Personen) waren rundum zufrieden. Haus und Garten sind in einem sehr gepflegten Zustand. Die Lage mitten im Wald ist toll und das Grundstück mit 35.000 m² gleicht einer Parkanlage.
    Das Haus hat 4 Schlafzimmer in der oberen Etage und ist insgesamt sehr geräumig. Das es nur ein Bad gibt war für uns kein Problem.
    Die Eigentümer sind sehr gastfreundlich und hilfsbereit. Wir haben gute Tipps für Ausflüge bekommen.
    Auf dem Grundstück befindet sich ein ca. 100 m² großer Schwimmteich dazu eine Gartendusche und ein Volleyballfeld. Für Aktivitäten im Freien ist das Areal prima geeignet.”

    “Ein großes schönes Holzhaus, für viele Personen geeignet. Der Garten ist mit 3,5 ha optimal um Freizeitbeschäftigungen nach zu gehen. Mit Volleyball- und Basketballfeld bietet die Anlage zu dem sportliche Aktivitäten an. Natürlich kann man auch saunieren und danach im See schwimmen gehen (wurde von uns oft genutzt). Was das Haus an geht ist es auf dem modernsten Stand: Flatscreen in der unteren und oberen Etage, moderne Küche mit Induktionsfeld, Dusche mit Radio und natürlich hat man auch Wifi. Der Vermieter ist besonders nett, kann Deutsch und Englisch und ist sehr gastfreundlich. Er pflegt das Grundstück und hat uns am letzten Abend noch zu BBQ und Lagerfeuer eingeladen, was uns den gesamten Besuch natürlich versüßt hat.”

    “Es gibt entgegen der Beschreibung weder einen Kamin noch ein Ruderboot oder Fahrrad. Die "Bademöglichkeit" ist ein großer Gartenteich. Wir haben aber nichts davon vermisst sondern uns über das in der Beschreibung nicht aufgeführte Volleyballfeld gefreut. Man sollte sich vor Ort wegen den Bremsen ein Mückenspray besorgen.”
