Detached holiday house with a garden, for a relaxing holiday near the castle
As the site is right by the edge of the forest, you can benefit from an extensive view over green meadows into the Waldviertel. The outdoor area is ideal for a romantic dinner on the sunny terrace in the private garden. There is a Weber bell grill. The terrace is furnished with a table and two benches. You can use two car parking spaces on site.
The house flooded with daylight presents itself as a restored old building with a high-quality interior and a cosy atmosphere on two floors. The ground floor comprises an entrance area, a bedroom with a double bed and an adjoining bathroom, a fully-equipped kitchen with a little dining table and direct access to the terrace, as well as a generous living room with a cosy sitting corner and a sofa bed. On the first floor, which is also an attic under two sloping ceilings and has parquet and panels, has a second bedroom with a WC and washbasin. It has a double bed consisting of two single beds next to each other (180 x 200cm). There is also an additional sofa bed. Owing to the size of the room, there is also space for some mattresses. The double bed in the ground-floor bedroom also consists of two single beds next to each other with comfortable individual mattresses. There are bedside tables and reading lamps on either side and a wooden wardrobe in front of the bed. A sliding door leads into the bathroom with a bath and shower attachment, a washbasin, a WC, a washing machine and plenty of towels. The centrepiece of the house, the living room, provides and armchair and a three-seater sofa that can be converted into a sofa bed. The flatscreen TV stands on a solid wood sideboard next to the fireplace stove. In the rear part of the living room there is a round dining table with six chairs, for dining together. The kitchen enables convenient self-catering with a four-zone hob and oven, a dishwasher, a fridge with a freezer compartment, a microwave, a coffee machine and a kettle.
It is 1500 metres to the locality, where restaurants, shops and an outdoor pool await your visit. The accommodation and Ernegg Castle lie between two golf courses: the challenging 9-hole course behind the castle with a breathtaking view of the surroundings, and the 18-hole championshiop course in front of the castle at the foot of the castle hill and in the Kleine Erlauf valley. The landscape in the beautiful Mostviertel is breathtaking. There is also a wealth of places of historical and cultural interest, such as castles, monasteries, abbeys and Wachau.
This holiday accommodation is ideal for accommodating additional guests at larger parties in the castle, but can also be rented by the week from Sunday to Saturday as a holiday house.
