The owner, who lives in the house across the street, will be happy to help you with advice and tips on your excursions through this beautiful region, such as where to best enjoy regional Chablis wines. The property is surrounded by fields and is ideal for a vacation in nature, at the same time it is only 15 minutes by car to Auxerre with its stores, restaurants and museums. The small town of Chablis, not far away, is also worth a trip. The way to Chablis leads you through a beautiful hilly landscape with many vineyards. The estate awaits you in the heart of the Romanesque Bourgogne. To the east lies the town of Fontainebleau with its old castle and the historic town of Sens. Travel to Paris by car or train and spend an eventful day in the French capital. On September 15, the truffle season opens in Burgundy with a large truffle market. Guided tours and tastings are also offered around the theme.
