Traditional Canary holiday home with swimming pool

This early 20th century stone house is located in the city of San Nicolas de Tolentino, in the southwest of Gran Canary Island. It sits in natural surroundings with only two other neighbouring houses. The 350 m² holiday house was entirely renovated in 2000. It is an example of typical and traditional Canary architecture, where the bedrooms are located around an inner courtyard.

The holiday house has a balcony, which is furnished with a seating accommodation and offers mountain views. There is a courtyard with a large patio and a heated pool on the ground floor. The house also boasts a roof terrace with chairs and a charcoal barbecue. Several parking spaces are available in front of the house.

The two-storey holiday house boasts a living room with sofas and satellite television as well as a small dining table on the ground floor. The patio is accessible from the living room. The fully furnished kitchen, which is integrated into the living room, is equipped with a stove, an oven, a refrigerator with a freezer compartment, a microwave, a toaster and a kettle. One of the three bathrooms - this one with a shower, a sink, a toilet and a washing machine - is located on the ground floor. Upstairs, you will find two large bedrooms - one furnished with a double bed the other one with two single beds - with mountain and forest views, as well as another bathroom with a shower, sink and toilet. On the other side of the courtyard are the other two bedrooms. One is furnished with two single beds and the master bedroom is furnished with four single beds and a bathroom with a shower, sink and toilet. The house is equipped with air conditioning and heating for the winter months, as well as wireless internet access.

The house is located about 80 minutes by car from the airport. You can reach the closest restaurants, a bar and shopping facilities for your daily needs within a 5 minute drive or a distance of 1 kilometre in the closest town. The closest beach in the town of San Nicolas is about a ten minute drive. It is partially sandy, partially a pebble beach. There are several sandy beaches along the west coast, which have not yet been inundated by masses of tourists. Adjacent to the house, there are numerous hiking trails leading through the gorgeous pine forest and offers ideal conditions for climbing and mountaineering.In a nutshell - this house is ideal if you are looking to vacation without the masses of tourists.

    “Schönes Altes Kanarisches Haus das einen ruhigen Urlaub ermöglicht. Keine Luxuriöse Ausstattung trotzdem alles was benötigt wird vorhanden.Wir waren zu viert und hatten genügend Platz für Privatsphäre .Ich denke sechs Personen funktionieren auch noch sehr gut. Alles ist nahe beieinander,was einen schnellen Sprung ins Wasser ermöglicht während der Grill anheizt und in der Küche alles vorbereitet wird.Optimal für Familie mit Kindern. Zum einkaufen und zum rumkommen braucht es schon ein Auto, ansonsten wird es schwierig.Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt, toll mal etwas aus der Zeit zu fallen.”
