Modern holiday apartments right by the lake with their own swimming jetty, ideal for a family holiday, enjoying fresh fish at the in-house fish bistro

The house with four holiday apartments stands alone surrounded by trees directly by the West shore of the lake Neuklostersee, a few hundred metres from the town centre. The property has a sunny and exposed location about 5-6 m above the lake. The holiday apartments have separate entrances and afford direct access to the lake which is between Schwerin and Wismar in the inland area of Mecklenburg-Vorpommern. You can go on day trips to the Baltic Sea.

The modern and comfortably furnished holiday apartments are on the first floor of a detached house. All the apartments have an integrated, fully-equipped kitchen, a big dining space for at least four people and a comfortable suite in an open area. The comfortable sofa in the living room can be pulled out into a bed measuring 160 x 200cm. All the apartments afford a picturesque view of the lake from the living room. Entertainment is provided in the evenings by a big flatscreen TV with a DVD player. The bedrooms are also equipped with a flatscreen TV. The apartments atraveo nos. 851077, 851085 and 851086 each have a bedroom with a shower room, while the apartment no. 851078 is larger and has two bedrooms, a spacious kitchen and a bathroom with a shower cubicle and a bath.

If you do not feel like self-catering every day, you can find fresh dishes on the varied menu at the in-house fish restaurant. You can enjoy your meal on the terrace right by the lake. Each apartment has a terrace with a dining table and chairs outdoors.

A fishing or bathing jetty which may only be used by the guests of the house belongs to the property. The fishing license for the Neuklostersee or a rowing boat can be purchased or rented 100 meters away from the house.

The lake is right in front of the house. You can jump straight into the water or explore the lake by boat. There are swimming facilities nearby, as well as places for fishing. The nearest shopping facilities are just a few hundred metres away in the town centre of Neukloster, with supermarkets, fresh bread rolls from the bakery and a butcher from 100 metres away. There are also doctors, pharmacies and banks. The little town of Neukloster offers historical architecture and a range of activities. There is Germany’s most modern climbing garden, or a youth barn with many activities. There is also a big swimming facility not far from the apartments, where you can also hire pedalos and fishing boats. The lake offers lots of possibilities for fishing enthusiasts. On the opposite shore in Nakenstorf there is the Seehotel with its art and spa barn, with many wellness treatments. You can go on trips to the Baltic Sea 22km away.

A lovely landscape with forests and lakes, significant historical architecture, modern living as well as open minded people. Neukloster is about 45 kilometers from Rostock and about 20 kilometers from Wismar. The area around Neukloster belongs to the extreme northwest of the Sternberg Lake District. Neukloster lies on the Neuklostersee, its origin goes back to the effects of the last ice age. Near the district Ravensruh lies the Selliner See. Neukloster can be reached via the motorway junction of the same name on the federal motorway 20. The national highway 192 passes three kilometers west of the city. The nearest railway stations are in Hornstorf on the railway line Wismar-Rostock and Blankenberg (Meckl) on the railway line Bad Kleinen-Rostock.

Holiday apartment in a nature reserve, with an attic room and terrace to the lake with its own swimming jetty

This holiday apartment is on the first floor, in the northern part of the hose. The centrepiece of the apartment is the open living, dining and cooking room, with a comfortable corner sofa in the front part with a coffee table in front of the TV, where you can benefit from the view of the lake through a window and a balcony door. The sofa can be easily converted into a bed for two guests. In the rear part you can find a solid wood dining table in a rustic style with four chairs and a cooking corner with a breakfast bar, with everything you need for convenient self-catering, including a dishwasher, an oven with a modern four-zone hob, a fridge and freezer, and small electrical appliances such as a microwave, a toaster, a kettle, a mixer and a coffee machine. The daylight bathroom has a shower cubicle, a WC and a washbasin. The upper area has a bedroom with two single beds one next to each other, which is an attic room with a flatscreen TV, a wardrobe and two windows that can be darkened and are fitted with insect screens.
