This 5-bedroom villa in Salazac can host 10 guests. It has a large private swimming pool for enjoying a dip, a fenced private garden to sit back and relax and 2 terraces and 1 covered terrace . This holiday home offers a fine view of both the Ardèche Valley and Mont Ventoux in the distance, and is 200 m away from the charming Salazac village. The key highlight of this area is that it is a hiker’s paradise, and one can take up canoeing or kayaking on the Ardèche River or the Cèze River at 8 km. An excellent starting point for many excursions to discover the region. Don't leave without visiting a typical Provençal market with local produce, such as the one in Bagnols on Wednesdays. You must visit Languedoc-Roussillon for its charming beach resorts, centuries-old fishing harbours and luxurious marinas and explore the nearby popular towns of Carcassonne, Montpellier, Narbonne, Nîmes and Perpignan. Situated in a tranquil location, this comfortable villa also has a poolhouse equipped with a fridge and a joyous stay is promised. The house has recently been partially renovated.

    “The house was dirty and much darker than it looked in the pictures. There were spiderwebs in the kitchen and the tile joints of the counter top were a yellowish brown. The dishwasher was full with dishes and fungus (!!!). The washing machine was full, the dryer was full and the washing line outside was full with bedding.
    We contacted the owner and according to him, the cleaning lady apparently did not come. However, how long does it take to grow fungus in dishes in a dishwasher?
    The toilet was in a closet under the stairs and even a not very tall person, would not be able to stand straight.
    There were snotty like stains in the curtains (yuk!) and the beds and bedrooms were much smaller than described.
    There was no functioning internet, but that problem was eventually solved by the owner because he arranged for us to pick up a temporarily mobile internet device.
    The bathroom had been renovated and was okay, but there was glue from the renovation tape on the tiles of the floor in the hallway (that was very easily scrubbed clean, so why was the floor left dirty???).
    To end this positively: there were fig trees with the most delicious figs I have ever tasted.”

    “Het zwembad is perfect! Afgesloten met mogelijkheid tot verwarmen (aanrader). Het huis zelf was niet echt schoon helaas en er is sprake van achterstallig onderhoud. Bij mooi weer leef je voornamelijk buiten en het voor-terras was heerlijk. Ruim en veel zitgelegenheid. Omheind terrein is in dit geval deels met stenen, die aan de achterkant van het huis niet hoog zijn waardoor kleine kinderen wel naar beneden kunnen vallen. Het speelgedeelte achter met de schommel is om deze reden niet geschikt, tenzij je constant toezicht houdt. Jammer, maar het voorterras biedt voldoende ruimte. Veel spelletjes en boeken binnen. De keukenkasten zitten over- en overvol met spullen. Enerzijds mooi, anderzijds zijn de spullen iets verder dan de eerste of bovenste rij niet schoon en je gebruikt toch vaak hetzelfde setje servies. Wasmachine en vaatwasser prima in orde. Contact met de poolman (senior pool manager) was goed en hij heeft nog een klusje in de keuken opgeknapt. Het huis ligt op de berg, heerlijk in de rust, stilte en ruimte.”
