The stone house renovated in 2013 provides around 65m² of living space on two floors and can accommodate up to five people. The ground floor has an air-conditioned living room with a sitting corner and digital TV, a dining space and an open kitchen, fully-equipped with a gas stove, oven, dishwasher, fridge with freezer compartment, microwave, toaster, kettle and coffee machine. There is also a washroom area with a washing machine and dryer. The first floor has three bedrooms, two with a double bed (160 x 200cm and 140 x 200cm) and one with a single bed (90 x 190cm) and a little desk. The bathroom has a shower, washbasin and WC. All the rooms have electric heating. Wireless Internet access is available.
The holiday house enjoys a quiet location in a little hamlet, about 1km from a little village at the heart of the Bordelais wine-growing area.
The holiday house is a perfect starting point for exploring the Bordelais region, as well as the area around Bordeaux (UNESCO world cultural heritage site) or the Bassin d’Arcachon and the Dune du Pila, on day trips. Saint Emilion with its vineyards and medieval town (UNESCO world cultural heritage site) is nearby. Many routes lead past the major wine-growing areas and castles, and the area is rich in historical villages with castles and fortifications. The village, about 1km from the house, has various everyday shops, such as grocery shops and bakeries, a tobacconist and newsagent, and a hairdresser. In Gensac, about 2.5km further away, there are restaurants, cafés, doctors and a pharmacy. The area has something to offer not only to wine lovers and history enthusiasts, but also to those who enjoy sports. Depending on the season, you can go canoeing on the Dordogne, swimming and other water sports at Lac de la Cadie aobut 5km away, as well as tennis, mountain biking, hiking or golf.
Outside there is a terrace with garden furniture and there is also a garden with garden furniture and a grill. There is a private tennis court. Cars can be parked in front of the house on public parking spaces on the street.
