    “In einem automobilen Umkreis von einer Stunde gibt es zahlreiche Dinge zu erleben. Torino mit seinem vielfältigen kulturellen Angebot liegt nicht fern, Mondovì muss sehr hübsch sein (haben wir allerdings nicht selbst erleben können). Viele hervorragende Weinkeller bzw. deren Besitzer laden zu Verköstigungen. Shopping-Aficionados kommen, wenn Torino nicht nah genug liegt, in einem nah gelegenen Shopping-Outlet auf Touren. Gegessen hatten wir wie die Könige z. Bsp. bei Paolo im Ristorante Al Castello im benachbarten Cigliè. Die Voralpen laden zu Wandertouren und Höhlenbesichtigungen ein (besonders zu empfehlen: die atemberaubende Grotta di Bosseo). Es hätte sich gelohnt, einen Monat statt nur eine Woche zu bleiben!”
