    “Traumhafte Lage mit Sicht auf bewaldete Hügel, am Horizont das Meer, absolute Ruhe, und doch ist alles, was man braucht, mit dem Auto gut und schnell zu erreichen: die Strände (es gibt viele) in 40 min, wunderschöne kleine Dörfchen mit viel Charakter, die größeren Städte Volterra und Siena auch nicht weit. In Canneto selbst gibt es eine Pizzeria, die hervorragend ist und einen kleinen Laden, der alles anbietet, was man braucht, auch frisches Brot und regionale Wurst- und Käseerzeugnisse, natürlich auch den guten Wein aus dem umliegenden Weinanbaugebieten. Obwohl der Ort so klein ist, hat er eine intakte Lebensgemeinschaft, die Kirche lädt sonntags zum Gottesdienst ein und im Sommer finden viele Konzerte und Veranstaltungen statt, in Canneto selbst bzw. in der näheren Umgebung. Wir haben ein wunderbares Konzert mit Gedichtrezitation auf den Stufen der Kirche miterlebt - es war herrlich!”

    “Canneto is eigenlijk te klein om te beoordelen maar de schitterende (berg)dorpjes in de omgeving zijn schitterend en de bevolking is bijzonder vriendelijk. We hebben geen enkele grote plaats bezocht maar hebben een week lang door het verleden gezworven en gewandeld.”
