    “Das Haus befindet sich an einer Ausfallstrasse. Man ist somit auf ein Auto angewiesen, um einzukaufen oder auch nur einen Kaffee zu trinken oder Brötchen zu kaufen. Das ist der einzige kleine Nachteil dieser Unterkunft.
    Die weitere Umgebung bietet hingegen zahlreiche gute Restaurants, Cafés etc. sowie grössere Supermärkte. Die benachbarte Stadt Viareggio ist sehr attraktiv und verfügt auch über einen Badestrand am Meer sowie die üblichen städtischen Einkaufsmöglichkeiten. In ca. 30 km Entfernung liegt die pittoreske Stadt Lucca, die einige Sehenswürdigkeiten aufweist.”

    “Die Umgebung ist sehr schön, Viareggio als historischer Badeort bietet saubere Strände, gute und bezahlbare Gastronomie und Einkaufsmöglichkeiten. Wir waren vom 8.8. bis 22.08. vor Ort und empfanden es als sehr angenehm, dass überwiegend Italiener hier Urlaub machen (Strände waren allerdings auch sehr gut besucht). Die Verkehrsanbindungen sind optimal. Lucca, Pisa, Florenz sind schnell erreichbar. Sehr empfehlenswert: Die Bucht um La Spezia mit Lerici (!) und Portovenere.”
