    “Er is een heel gezellig restaurant boven aan de weg. Het eten is lekker en authentiek. We zijn erg vriendelijk geholpen en er kwamen ook veel locale mensen eten. Dat vinden wij altijd een goed teken. Een goede supermarkt bevindt zich op slechts een paar kilometer afstand.
    El Teide is op anderhalf uur rijden te bereiken. Verder is de zuid en westkust goed te bereiken.”

    “In der nächstgelegenen Ortschaft El Tanque konnte man alles kaufen, was man haben wollte. Mochte man was spezielles, mußte man nach Puerto de la Cruz, Santa Cruz, Icod oder zu den großen Malls an der Südküste. Freizeitangebot gab es in San Juan del Reparo keines, aber zu den Wanderwegen um den Teide herum war es nicht weit zu fahren.”

    “Vor Ort gibt es einige kleine Restaurants und auch Einkaufsmöglichkeiten. Das Haus liegt etwas abseits inmitten einer Bananenplantage. Zu Sportmöglichkeiten und Sehenswürdigkeiten können wir nicht viel sagen; wir waren nur einmal zum Spazierengehen und zum Essen im Ort, ansonsten haben wir den herrlichen Ausblick aufs Meer von der Terrasse aus genossen, waren in der kleinen Badebucht nahe des Hauses am Meer (nichts für kleine Kinder und unbedingt Badeschuhe mitbringen!) oder waren auf der Insel unterwegs. Wer seine Ruhe haben will, ist hier auf jeden Fall richtig.”
