    “Eine sehr gute Einkaufsmöglichkeit befindet sich nur eine Gehminute vom Haus entfernt. Bis nach Eckernförde sind es nur 8 km und mit dem Auto sind die Einkaufsmöglichen in einer sehr kurzen Zeit erreichbar.
    Sehr vorteilhaft war, dass die Geschäfte auch am Sonntag geöffnet haben.
    Die ländliche Umgebung läd zum Wandern und Radfahren ein.
    In der Nähe befinden sich ein Whiskymuseum und viele andere Sehenswürdigkeiten.
    Der See ist Fußläufig erreichbar und die Ostsee ist nur einige Fahrminuten entfernt.”

    “Es gibt einen kleinen Edekamarkt, der echt (fast) alles hat! Frisches Obst und frische Brötchen, Lebensmittel usw. usw. Hier ist im Sommer sogar sonntags vormittags geöffnet. Ich habe eine Apotheke gesehen, einen Imbiss und wenigstens zwei Hotels und Restaurants, die alle fußläufig zu erreichen sind. Am Ortsausgang gibt es einen großen Getränkemarkt. Groß Wittensee bietet somit alles für den täglichen Gebrauch! In der näheren Umgebung z.B. Richtung Damendorf gibt es viele Spazier - und Gassigehmöglichkeiten, in nur 10 Autominuten erreicht man Eckernförde.”

    “Schönes Dorf, kleiner Edeka in der Nähe. Eckernförde ca. 10 km entfernt sehr viele Einkaufsmöglichkeiten auch an Sonntagen.
    Ostsee in Eckernförde schöner Strand und Hafen (Schifffahrten sehr empfehlenswert). Kann man gut Fisch essen an jeder Ecke am Hafen, große Altstadt mit Fußgängerzone. Im Hotel an der Ferienwohnung gibt es auch ein Restaurant.
    Ein Reiterhof im Dorf vorhanden. Viele Weitere Seen in Umgebung (Hüttener Berge). Ein Tagesausflug an die Nordsee (Wattenmeer) Husum sehr empfehlenswert ca. 60 km entfernt. Freizeit-und Sportaktivitäten auf dem Wasser nur in Eckernförde. Schöne Wander- und Radwege (Hüttener Berge) nähere Infos an der Rezeption am Hotel.”
