    “Istro zelf vonden wij helaas niet zoveel aan. Er zijn restaurants, maar die liggen aan een drukke weg. Het bakkertje vlakbij is prima. De supermarkt erg basic - we reden hiervoor toch naar de Lidl bij Agios Nikolaos. Wij verkozen het rustige strand, dat ongeveer 15 minuten lopen is. In Agios Nikolaos is een klein strand, een leuk haventje en twee winkelstraten met vooral souvenirshops. Zoek vooral ook de Gorges op in de buurt, de Ha Gorges bijvoorbeeld, mooie natuur.”
