    “Een auto huren is aan te raden, om bv. grote boodschappen te doen of andere dorpjes/steden/stranden te bezoeken. Er zijn tal van winkels in de buurt (Aldi, Lidl, Carrefour,...). De omgeving is helemaal niet toeristisch - wat wij als positief ervaarden. De natuur is ongerept en SUPER prachtig! Alle dorpjes zijn gezellig en beschikken over winkeltjes en restaurants. Alles in de omgeving is aanwezig, maar gewoon in mindere mate. Je kan het niet vergelijken met populaire bestemmingen zoals Benidorm of Calpe. Als je er van houdt om alles zelf te ontdekken, is deze omgeving ideaal. Vele wandel- en fietsroutes, afgelegen strandjes en gezellige dorpjes zijn hier te vinden. Wij raden aan: fietsen langs Mar Menor naar Punta del Algas, met de auto rond Mar Menor rijden naar het verste punt (Punta del pudrimel), Murcia, Cartagena, Sierra Espuna, Calblanque,...”
