    “Vecoux is klein rustig dorp. Er was een leuke jaarmarkt.
    Winkels goed bereikbaar, met auto op 5/10 min.”

    “Het huis ligt in een klein onopvallend dorp aan de Moezel even buiten Remiremont (5 km) met alleen een kleine kruidenierswinkel (alleen op dinsdagen gesloten) waar je 's ochtends terecht kunt voor vers brood. Verder is er een café, waar je overigens prima kunt eten. Vermaak is er niet maar wandelmogelijkheden in de uitgestrekte bossen zijn er te over. Wandelroutes starten voor de deur. Winkels en restaurants zijn er genoeg in Remiremont maar verder vonden wij deze plaats niet heel bijzonder. Mogelijkheden voor uitstapjes van allerlei soort zijn er heel veel in de nabije omgeving of verder weg. Twee laden vol met folders en kaarten geven je genoeg te kiezen. Wij kwamen tijd te kort in deze mooie streek. Verder overal ontspannen en vriendelijke mensen. Wij vonden het zeer voor herhaling vatbaar.”
