The modern, stylishly furnished apartment London, equipped for up to 3 guests, is one of three holiday apartments in this house. There is only one step to climb to get into the apartment. The kitchen is equipped with everything to prepare full meals. In front of the apartment right next to the front door is a seating area with a table and chairs to enjoy the setting sun with a glass of wine or beer in the evening. Smokers also find their place here.
 
In addition, there are 7 long-term rented apartments in the same building. The house was completely renovated in 2022 and all the equipment and appliances offer the latest comfort. The London apartment is on the ground floor.
The bedroom is furnished with a double bed. On request we can add a folding bed, a cot or both.
A romantic garden invites you to a cozy get-together. The garden is shared with other guests but has enough space for everyone.
 
The parking is directly in front of the apartment and in front of the house there is also the Ochsen bus stop (post bus). Guests are given a code that gives access to the key and allows guests to self check in after 3 pm. Each apartment has its own private entrance.


Mattwil is a small, rural village in the heart of the canton of Thurgau in eastern Switzerland. Located in the triangle of Weinfelden, Kreuzlingen and Amriswil, very close to the beautiful Upper Lake Constance, the location offers many excursion possibilities in the area and relaxation in the countryside. Our area is quiet and safe.
From here you can be at the lake in Altnau within 15 minutes. Nearby cities invite you to shop and linger. A boat trip on the lake offers many opportunities to visit the neighboring countries of Germany and Austria. If you have enough time, you will love a day cruise down the river Rhine to Schaffhausen.
The area is ideal for hikers and cyclists. Take a picnic with you and take a break with a view on Lake Constance or the mountains in the distance. Stop at one of the many restaurants offering local specialities. Whether you prefer active holidays or just want to relax, you've come to the right place.

 
A larger group of up to 9 people also has the option of booking all three holiday apartments, which are next to each other on the ground floor. Please register early for this.

Negativ: Bewegungsmelder, Licht vor der Tür ging immer wieder an in der Nacht und es wurde hell in der Wohnung Restaurant: Rest. Krteuzstrasse Zuben - Man kann dort sehr fein essen.     “Wir hören immer gerne von unseren Gästen und freuen uns über jeden Kommentar.
    In Bezug auf Lage, ist der Ort der Wohnung online klar markiert und Distanzen genau beschrieben. Die Wohnungen und Möbel sind brand neu und von bester Qualität. Bei diesem Gast hatte es Essenreste unter dem Bett und die Bettwäsche war schmutzig. Daher wundern wir uns, wie das Bett Schaden nehmen konnte und wünschten uns, der Gast hätte es bei der Abreise erwähnt, anstatt zu sagen, dass alles in Ordnung war.”

    “Wir haben einen wunderschönen Kurzurlaub im Thurgau erlebt. Absolut ideal für Fahrradfahrer bei über 900km Fahrradwegen von leicht bis schwer durch wunderschöne Dörfer und Weiler. In unserem kleinen feinen Feriendomizil konnten wir, nach eine langen Tag, herrlich entspannen. Positiv: In der Ferienwohnung fehlt, ausser vielleicht einem grossen Gemüse- oder Fleischmesser, absolut nichts. Die Gastgeber und Nachbarn sind super freundlich. Negativ: Lage: Ein fahrbarer Untersatz ist zwingend notwendig, da die Postautoverbindungen an Wochenenden und Feiertagen nur alle 2 Stunden bestehen und die letzte Verbindung nach Mattwil in Kreuzlingen um 17:08 beim Bärenplatz abfährt. Mit Fahrrad und/oder Auto ist Mattwil aber gut erreichbar.
    Äusserer Eindruck: Die Fassade vom Haus, aus dem Blickwinkel von der Hauptstraße, lässt nichts Gutes vermuten. Es sieht genau so aus wie die unvorteilhaften Bilder in Google Maps. Um die Ecke, auf der Hinterseite bei den Eingängen, sieht man dann aber das wirkliche Bijou. Wie sagt man so schön, außen Pfui und innen Hui.”
