One of the best things to do in Fuengirola, apart from going to the beach, is to take a stroll through the old town. You can also take a trip to the mountains and visit the white town of Mijas, drive past Benalmádena with its large harbour, eat delicious seafood in the old fishing village of La Carihuela, stroll through the old town of Torremolinos, hike through olive groves and orange groves and explore the coastal town of Málaga, the birthplace of Pablo Picasso. You can also visit Carvajal beach, known for its dark sand and calm waters.
