Holiday home close to beach with large garden and private pool in northern Portugal

The detached house has 400 m² of living space and is situated on a 1,250 m² plot. It was built in 1990 and completely renovated in 2005.

From one of the three living rooms, you have access to the garden and pool area, where you can enjoy a refreshing dip or a cosy barbecue in the evening. Garden furniture, deckchairs, sunshades and a grill are also available.

There are three large living rooms, two of which have a fireplace and sofas and one which also has a small dining table. The rooms invite you to linger or read here. In one, there is a small library and in the other, a satellite TV. The house also offers a fully equipped kitchen with a stove, oven, fridge, freezer compartment, coffee machine, microwave and a dishwasher. In addition, there are five fully furnished bedrooms with fitted cupboards, four of which are located on the first floor and one in the attic. There are also three bathrooms, one with bathtub with massage function and all with a shower, sink and toilet each. The house has heating and hot water.

The proximity to the beach makes this house an ideal starting point for activities by the sea, such as kite surfing or windsurfing. The town is 15 minutes away on foot or 5 minutes by car, and offers all the amenities such as shopping centres, pharmacies, supermarkets, restaurants, pubs, clubs etc. The holiday accommodation is also only 40 minutes by car from the international airport in Porto.

    “Lovely large villa in stunning grounds. Great pool and gardens with plenty of seating areas in sun and shade.
    Good location, quiet and leafy, close to beach and ferry for the town.
    Absolutely spotless throughout with three good sized lounges and large covered patio, perfect for lounging and dining.
    Kitchen a little dated but again, spotlessly clean with a huge amount of crockery, pots, glasses etc,
    Two good sized modern double rooms and two smaller twin bedded rooms which were adequate with three modern bathrooms.

    The property is advertised for ten but the third double room is in the attic with no lights on the staircase, just a few lamps in the room which you had to walk through in the dark to switch on. Also no door. The room seems to used for storage, no hanging space either. Windows too high to see out of or even reach to open and close. Very disappointing.
    Might be better to offer the house for eight guests and not use that room at all.”

    “Effectively we believe that the fifth room (the penthouse) must improve to provide more comfort in case the house is complete (10 guests). I appreciate your comment and we will improve this space for the summer of 2019.”

    Haustürschlüssel, für 4 Eingänge, 4 verschiedene Schlüssel, keiner war doppelt, für 10 Personen geht gar nicht!
    Alle Schränke im Haus haben schlecht gerochen!
    Der Grill war nicht zu gebrauchen (DURCHGEROSTET)

    Die Zimmer und Bäder waren sehr sauber!
    Der Garten und Pool sehr schön und sehr gepflegt!
