The villa is on a hill in the Vinodol valley near Lake Tribalj, in an excellent location in direct touch with nature, and not far from the sea in Kvarner Bay.
The villa is on two floors and can accommodate nine people. The style is authentic, with many details from the grandparents’ era, providing the warmth of home with vestiges of the past, the fragrances of a Mediterranean garden and the requisite peace and quiet on holiday. The 95m² ground floor has an air-conditioned living and dining room with a view over the pool and the mountains. It provides a fireplace, a sofa suite, an 80cm flatscreen TV with cable channels, DVDs, a Playstation 3, pay-per-view films, and an audio system with loudspeakers. There is also a business corner with a desk, chair, small library, maps and guides. Wireless Internet access is available throughout. The dining space has a big dining table with plenty of space for all guests. The kitchen is fully-equipped with a stove, oven, fridge-freezer, microwave, coffee machine, toaster and dishwasher. The bathroom comprises a shower, washbasin and toilet. There is also a laundry room with a washing machine and ironing utensils. You can relax in the Finnish sauna with all the necessary accessories, oils and exfoliation. Treat yourself to a drink at the bar with selected wines and local liqueurs. On the upper floor there are three bedrooms with air conditioning. The 45m² master bedroom affords a view of the lake, the castle and the valley. It is furnished with a kingsize double bed measuring 180 x 200cm and a single bed measuring 90 x 200cm. There are also an 80cm flatscreen TV, a desk, a safe and a minibar. The adjoining en-suite bathroom with under-floor heating and a view comprises a bath, bidet, two washbasins, a toilet and a dresser. The second bedroom measures 25m² and offers a view over the valley. It provides a queensize bed measuring 160 x 200cm, an 80cm flatscreen TV with satellite channels, and a desk. The en-suite bathroom comprises a shower, washbasin and toilet. The third bedroom measures 23m² and provides a queensize bed of 160 x 200cm, an 80cm flatscreen TV with satellite channels and a DVD player, and an en-suite bathroom with a shower, washbasin and toilet. Various baby items are available on request.
The outdoor kitchen in the garden has a grill and there is a roofed dining space with plenty of seating. You can cool off in the heated pool measuring 8 x 3 metres. Sun loungers and parasols are provided in the pool area. Throughout the garden there are several chill-out areas with seating. Play equipment such as a swing and bicycles is available for children. There is plenty of parking space on site.
A cooking and catering service by the Rivica restaurant, boat trips with a skipper, high sea fishing and massages on the boat can be arranged. On arrival you receive a welcome package with local products. Dogs and other pets are welcome. A food bowl and dog bed can be provided on request. There is a beach suitable for dogs in Crikvenica.
The green valley between the sea and the forested mountains offers a variety of trip options. The town of Crikvenica is 6km away, with a range of entertainment and leisure facilities, as well as a variety of beaches. You can also visit the town of Rijeka 30km away, the centre of Primorje and the Gorski Kotar region.
