    “Priego de Cordoba bietet nicht sonderlich viel. Außer mit Hundekot übersäte Straßen. Einkaufsmöglichkeiten und Gastronomie sind vorhanden. Aber es stinkt permanent nach Abgasen, so dass das Essen in den vielen Straßencafe`s nicht unbedingt ein Vergnügen ist. An Sport- und Freizeitvergnügen (außer u. U. wandern), bietet die Stadt nichts. Es gibt zwar eine sehr schöne Aussichtsterrasse mit schön angelegtem Park und einige interessante Bauwerke, aber an einem Tag hat man das wesentliche gesehen. Die Landschaft drum herum besteht aus Bergen mit Olivenhainen, ziemlich karg und öde. Vorteil ist, dass man von Priego schnell Ausflüge nach Cordoba, Granada, Sevilla usw. starten kann.”
