Today's Puntera countryside consists mainly of expansive green pastures, hills, forests, fields, meadows and caves. Puntera is located directly above the Rasa Bay, channel 12 km long and 1 km wide, into which the river Rasa (lat.Arsia) spills into the sea. This is the scenery of peaceful eastern Istria, which offers a wunderful view of the Kvarner islands.
Although apparently a lonely village, Puntera is easy to find easily and quickly come from major Coratian cities. From Rijeka is shared by only 60km, from Zagreb 210km, 250km of Venice, Trieste 80km, 100km of Ljubljana ... The nearest, distance from Pula airport is only 20 km, and if you still long for city life of the greatest centers on the coast of Istria (Rovinj, Rabac, Porec, Pula) takes you an average of only 20 - 30 km, or no more than 30min driving.
